That's fucked up. There shouldn't be anything deciding who gets punished for the rest of the afterlife. Morality is totally subjective anyway. I don't think you deserve that.
It's not great either though. I took my wedding vows seriously when I made them, but then this person. I don't know. This all feels very messy.
